Description
Our guided tour departs from Perth, the Western Australia capital city bordering the Indian Ocean. We will visit some of Western Australia’s best birding locations, from the spectacular Dryandra Woodlands to the Stirling Ranges.
We will focus on land-based excursions, but we will bird the coastlines as well.
What species can be spotted?
An incredible display of birds call Western Australia home and some of the species to be encountered on our tours are: Western Rosella, Western corella, Western whistler, Rock parrot, Blue-breasted fairy-wren, Western yellow robin, Western bristlebird, Western whipbird, Noisy scrub-bird, Western fieldwren, Baudin’s and Carnaby’s black cockatoo, Rufous treecreeper, Gilbert’s Honeyeater, Red-eared firetail and Purple-gaped honeyeater.
