Description

Our guided tour will visit some of California’s most scenic locations, from the Yosemite valley to Half Moon Bay, all while spotting fantastic birds (and other wildlife).

California is packed with spectacular vistas, in addition to an assortment of habitats from the Sierras to the Pacific Ocean. We will partake in both land-based and pelagic excursions to maximise our birding opportunities.

What species can be spotted?

Some of the species to be encountered on this tour are: California thrasher, California towhee, Yellow-billed magpie, Tricolored blackbird, Wrentit, Nuttall’s Woodpecker, Oak Titmouse, plus extensive amounts of wading birds, shorebirds and pelagic birds, in addition to a chance to spot the spectacular California condor.
