Description
Our guided tour departs from Darwin, a humid region filled with colourful birds and aboriginal history. We will visit some of Australia’s most iconic locations, from Kakadu National Park to Litchfield National Park in the Northern Territory before flying to Cairns to experience the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.
We will partake primarily in land-based excursions, but we will have one pelagic journey to the Great Barrier Reef.
What species can be spotted?
A mesmerizing display of birds exist in Tropical Australia and some of the species to be encountered on our tours are: Rainbow pitta, Comb-crested jacana, Gouldian finch, Blue-winged kookaburra, Red-backed Kingfisher, Cockatiel, Black-necked Stork, Red-tailed Black Cockatoo and maybe even a Southern Cassowary.
